iPhone Alarm Tweets – Apple gives Europe extra hour of sleep

Earlier today we discussed the issue with the alarm on the iPhone following the software’s DST glitch. It was evident that a number of people did oversleep and have an extra hour of sleep – now Apple has the power to keep you asleep for longer.

There have been a number of tweets on peoples Twitter accounts asking if anyone else overslept and what can they do if it happens again tomorrow. Well, this is a simple fix thanks Djmel, who explained that all you need to do is delete your saved alarms and set new ones.

Tweets are still coming in, with most of them offering details on a number of clock apps for your iPhone. OK, so we know that you do not need any new apps, but just do a test set to make certain that your alarm will go off at the correct time.

One tweet has said that they are just off to bed now, and that they are uncertain if their alarm will go off at the correct time. I do find it strange that bosses in Europe have not complained about this bug, as thousands of workers would have been late this morning.

Were you late for work this morning?
