Portal 2: Release Date Delay – New Date for Xbox 360, PS3, PC

We have some slightly disappointing news to bring you now, as it has been confirmed that the highly anticipated Portal 2 title from Valve has been delayed for all platforms of the game.

We say ‘slightly’, as the delay isn’t a long one, and gamers will only have to wait an extra two months to get their hands on the game – which isn’t long at all when you think about other delays that have happened.

As reported from VG247, the game was due out on February 9th on PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Mac, but we are now hearing that the game will be releasing in the week of April 18th, 2011.

According to Valve, this delay is the ‘shortest delay in their proud tradition of delays’. I’m sure you’ll find something else to play in February anyway, two months is nothing. Let us know your thoughts on the delay.
